Today I have been reading about the World with DNA: The Big Cats of Sumatra
Here are some things I learned:
I have learned that there are tigers that live in Sumatra in Indonesia. 
I also learned that Sumatran tigers are genetically unique. 

Prototec

W.A.L.T: Do prototec every day for a worm up.
Every morning I and my class do prototec for a worm up for our brain for when we do the math word problems.

Quick writes

W.A.L.T: Write 100 or more words in 10 minutes.
 Guess who is where you chose people to write about you write about them in detail then share with your class and let them guess who this person is.

Matariki

W.A.L.T: Increase our knowledge by reading a wide range of texts.
This week we have been learning about Matariki and what happens at Matariki time

Caricatures

W.A.L.T: Make caricatures.
One day this year we had Ms. O´dea we all had fun making them. The self-portraits are made of permanent marker and dye.

Tiny houses

WALT: Write about whether we would live in a Tiny house and why.

Would I live in a tiny house?
If I had a  choice to live in a tiny house I think I would live in one because they are so nice and small and they look nice and compact. Also if you wanted to go around the country you could just put it on the back of the truck and you can just travel without trying to find a place to stay. That's why I would live in a tiny house.

Readworks

W.A.L.T: Do our article a day.
 Every day we do readworks and then we publish them our teacher sees them she marks them then we post it on our blog.
